POET FOR HIRE

 

Have you ever wanted to have a poem written personally for you? Of course you have!

 

Enter moi: local renegade poet-for-hire, Aimée Mackovic. I am an award-winning poet who has been published in over a dozen magazines and journals, and I even have the fancy-schmancy MFA in poetry. I have also published a chapbook. I am severely passionate about poetry, and live to share it! That's where you come in. 

 

I would love to come to your event, set up my old school vintage typewriter, and churn out some lovely literary morsels for your guests. Here's how it works: guests approach my table, select (if they wish) a couple of words from my jar d'inspiration, and then watch as I create an original poem of 4 to 6 lines just for them right on the spot. They'll laugh, they'll cry, they'll leave with a one-of-a-kind souvenir, and you will get major kudos for such an original idea for entertainment! 

 

For my services, I charge $250 for the first three hours, and $100 for each additional hour, with payment due (personal check, cash, money order, PayPal) in full by party time. I do have a three hour minimum time requirement. I bring all my own supplies, but will need access to a small table and chair. I use a variety of very nice (read: expensive) cardstock paper and high-quality typewriter ribbon.
